Digital goals
Jane.com has been in business for the last six years and is a boutique marketplace featuring women’s fashions, home décor and children’s clothing. Jane.com includes sellers from all over the country as part of the marketplace. We were looking for ways to support sellers and help them understand how to grow their businesses with us. We decided to launch a seller community in early April to give our sellers a digital destination where they can get best practices, recommendations and answers to their questions. But most importantly to build a ‘communal feel’ with all our sellers.
Our main goal is to give sellers a premium experience on Jane.com. We wanted to make sure our digital experience matched our culture and design. Simple to use, and elegant.
The design elements that make the community unique and stand out
The Jane.com community serves as a home for our sellers, giving them access to support, information and ideas as part of their experience with Jane. Because of that, we have gone through all aspects of the design to ensure we were only presenting relevant information and narrating how the users engage.
Working with Lithium’s team, we worked countless hours creating the pixel perfect design. Our teams designed the UX and UI and worked with Lithium’s team to execute and program.

As we have just launched, we don’t have metrics to support this yet, but we receive countless compliments on the design.
